Somehow I feel like I missed out on something in my childhood by not celebrating Christmas ...
It's not that I'm upset about the presents and the fat white guy in a red suit, but my brother and I had nothing like this to bond over! We had to fight like regular kids and make up by building a fort out of sofa cushions.
Hanukkah presents aren't hidden under a tree and there's no secret about them (usually), so there's no opening them before the Big Day. Does this mean I shouldn't have answered the question?
